About Us

Scott Levy

Scott Levy is the Co-Founder of Two Nomads, a premier sports and entertainment advisory firm that leverages decades of international expertise to guide clients through complex challenges in tech, sports, entertainment, and web3. Operating nomadically, Scott brings a rare combination of corporate leadership, entrepreneurial vision, and global cultural fluency to early-stage companies, PE and VC firms, and consulting organizations navigating cross-border investments and strategic growth.

Currently a Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, Scott spent over two decades building the NBA's international footprint—most recently as Executive Vice President & Managing Director of NBA Asia, where he orchestrated the league's expansion across Asia-Pacific. Under his leadership, the NBA forged more than 460 retail partnerships, launched the Jr. NBA across Southeast Asia, secured groundbreaking media and marketing deals, and grew the league's regional social media following to over 35 million. He directed every facet of NBA Asia and NBA India's operations—from broadcast distribution and sponsorship to merchandising, digital innovation, and live events.

Before leading NBA Asia, Scott served as Senior Vice President of International Television and Marketing Partnerships at the NBA's New York headquarters for a decade, expanding the league's broadcast reach to over 200 countries and 40 languages. He pioneered the international launch of NBA TV, the league's 24-hour network, establishing new content distribution models that became the foundation for the NBA's global media strategy.

Between his NBA tenures, Scott founded and ran MJ Global Sports and Media Inc. (2006-2009), a boutique consultancy serving international sports and media clients. His career began with extensive travel across Europe and Asia alongside his wife, experiences that shaped his approach to cultural intelligence and cross-market strategy.

Beyond business, Scott is deeply committed to social impact. He serves on the Board of Coach Across America, a national organization addressing youth development through sports-based mentorship, and advises Life After Justice, which supports the wrongfully convicted in rebuilding their lives. In 2022, Scott and Ilene established Who's On First, a donor-advised fund focused on education equity and social justice in underserved communities.

An endurance athlete, Scott has competed in the New York and Ho Chi Minh City Marathons, Japan's Oxfam 100km Trailwalker, and numerous triathlons and obstacle races— benefiting Fred's Team and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Having lived and worked across six continents, Scott embodies Two Nomads' core values: Explore, Connect, Contribute, and Grow—principles that inform every client engagement and board commitment.

Ilene Levy

Ilene Levy is the Co-Founder of Two Nomads, where she brings over three decades of nonprofit leadership, organizational development, and community-building expertise to help clients design sustainable systems for growth and impact. Operating nomadically, Ilene specializes in guiding organizations—from early-stage ventures to established enterprises—through strategic transformation, governance excellence, and mission-driven leadership.

A lifelong community architect, Ilene has spent her career helping people and organizations develop the systems, processes, and cultural frameworks needed to create meaningful change. Her approach combines operational rigor with deep empathy, enabling teams to unlock their potential while building resilient structures that scale.

Ilene's nonprofit career began in New York with leadership roles in conference management and organizational development at the American Lung Association, Society of Nuclear Medicine, and National Hemophilia Foundation. After relocating to Hong Kong in 2009, she became a central figure in the city's civic landscape, ultimately serving as Chair of the Board of the American Club Foundation, which she helped establish in 2019 to support Hong Kong communities through grants, volunteer mobilization, and educational programming.

In Hong Kong, Ilene also led the American Women's Association Charitable Donations Committee, mentoring emerging nonprofit leaders and shaping grantmaking strategy, and served as President of Hong Kong International School's Booster Club, where she mobilized parent volunteers and fundraising efforts.

Today, Ilene serves as Chair of the Board of the Frederick Douglass Project for Justice, a nonprofit that facilitates structured, face-to-face conversations between incarcerated individuals and members of free society across correctional facilities nationwide. By creating bridges of understanding through proximity and dialogue, the organization transforms lives on both sides of the conversation—empowering incarcerated people while shifting public perception of the criminal justice system.

She formerly served as Co-Chair of the Strategic Planning Committee for Life After Justice, an exoneree-led organization battling wrongful convictions and empowering the wrongfully convicted to rebuild their lives. Additionally, Ilene sits on the Board and Governance Committee of Volunteer New York!, whose mission—Connect. Serve. Grow.—mirrors the values she and Scott embedded in Two Nomads. Through these roles, Ilene continues to advance social justice, community resilience, and inclusive leadership models.

A natural connector and lifelong learner, Ilene has an instinct for building authentic community wherever she lands—whether in New York, Hong Kong, or the dozens of cities she's called home while traveling the world. When she's not working with clients or nonprofit boards, Ilene can be found hiking, skiing, exploring new destinations with Scott and their two adult sons, or channeling her creative energy through art and writing.
